Your main responsibilities:
- Management of the activities of the Institutional Clients Department and organization of the team's effective work;
- Development and implementation of investment strategies for institutional client portfolios, taking into account their investment objectives, risk profile, and established constraints;
- Monitoring of financial markets, macroeconomic situation, individual asset classes, and issuers to make investment decisions;
- Generating investment ideas and proposals for portfolio optimization;
- Ensuring compliance with investment declarations, established limits, and internal requirements;
- Interaction with institutional clients: conducting meetings, discussing investment strategy and portfolio management results;
- Participation in the preparation of materials and presentation of investment decisions to the Investment Committee;
- Interaction with related company divisions — investment analysis, risk management, legal, operations, and other departments;
- Quality control of investment and client documentation preparation, including contracts and investment declarations;
- Participation in the development of products and solutions for institutional investors.
We are looking for:
- Higher education — mathematical, economic, or financial;
- 3–5 years of experience in asset management, portfolio management, investment banking, or private banking;
- Deep understanding of financial markets and investment instruments: bonds, stocks, money market, etc.;
- Knowledge of investment strategy development principles and risk management;
- Skills in financial and investment analysis;
- Team leadership experience;
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills;
- Knowledge of the legislation and regulatory requirements of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding financial market activities and asset management;
- Fluent English to work with professional financial information and international sources.
