Global Finance has once again named Halyk Finance JSC the best investment bank in Kazakhstan.

Experts from the authoritative international publication Global Finance have summed up the results of the annual 2026 Best Investment Bank Awards. Following a thorough evaluation of the nominees, the publication named Halyk Finance the Best Investment Bank in Kazakhstan (Best Investment Bank in Kazakhstan 2026). 

This award is another testament to the leading role Halyk Finance plays in Kazakhstan’s investment banking market, as well as the company’s achievements in 2025. According to the publication, Halyk Finance is the leader in local bond placements with a total volume exceeding 2.3 trillion tenge across 56 deals, and also dominates the underwriting segment for Kazakh issuers’ Eurobonds, holding a 50% market share. Additionally, in awarding the prize, the publication highlighted Halyk Finance’s role as a joint global coordinator and bookrunner in the largest secondary share offering in Kazakh corporate history—the SPO Halyk in November 2025.

The awards ceremony took place on April 21, 2026, in London. The Global Finance award was received by Halyk Finance Deputy Chairman of the Management Board Roman Asilbekov.

It is worth noting that Halyk Finance has previously received awards from international publication EMEA Finance, the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), and the Astana International Exchange (AIX). EMEA Finance recognized Halyk Finance as the winner in the categories “Best Investment Bank in Kazakhstan,” “Best Broker in Kazakhstan,” and “Best Investment Bank in the Debt Capital Markets.” KASE awarded the company as Equity Market Underwriter of the Year, Corporate Bonds Underwriter of the Year, and Best Financial Advisor, while AIX recognized Halyk Finance as the Best Broker in the Equity Instruments Market.
