In April 2026, Fitch Ratings upgraded Altyn Bank's long-term rating from BBB to BBB+ with a stable outlook, following the upgrade of its parent company China CITIC Bank to A-/Stable; the agency noted potential support from the parent structure as one of the key rating factors.
