Halyk Finance announces a vacancy for the position of Head of Research.
Halyk Finance, being the largest investment bank in Kazakhstan and a leader in many segments of the stock market, a subsidiary of Halyk Bank, has opened a vacancy for the Head of Research. We are looking for a strong, charismatic leader capable of leading a team of professionals.
Responsibilities
- Effective management of the Department in accordance with the tasks set.
- Control over outgoing (internal and external) analytical materials from the Department.
- Interaction with other structural units of the organization on various aspects.
- Preparation of own analytical materials on macroeconomics, business valuation and market risks, including investment ideas.
- Development of a separate direction of premium analytics in the segment of HNWI clients. Conducting regular webinars, meetings and personal consultations with institutional and large private clients.
- Acting as a public speaker for the company.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in investment analysis in Buy-side, Sell-side, Asset Management, including at least 2 years in a managerial position.
- Education - higher education in finance, economics and/or mathematics from leading international or national universities;
- Knowledge and skills in macroeconomic analysis, fundamental business valuation, risk assessment, technical analysis.
- Understanding the architecture of global capital markets and the specifics of the market of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of Russian and English languages. Knowledge of the Kazakh language will be a strong advantage.
- Possession of a CFA Charterholder certificate, MBA/PhD degree will be an advantage.
