Halyk Finance announces a vacancy for the position of Chief Analyst of the Capital Market Department of the Consulting and Underwriting Department.

Requirements

Higher education (Finance/International Finance/Economics)
Experience in investment banking or corporate finance or Big4 (Valuation, Financial Advisory and M&A Transaction Services) or in the field of corporate finance - at least 2 (two) years.
Knowledge of the main provisions of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan related to the activities of issuing and placing securities.
Knowledge and skills in using existing financial models for asset valuation.
Ability to read and interpret financial statements.
Understanding of financial value theory and assessment, methodology, and applications.
Proficiency in English at least Upper-Intermediate level
Good presentation material preparation skills.
Ability to work in a team with employees of different levels.
Ability to clearly and competently express ideas orally and in writing, in English and Russian.
Computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience using Bloomberg

Responsibilities

Preparation of presentation materials (pitch-books), investment memorandums, business attractiveness reports of existing clients, business plans, and other documents required for the provision of consulting services by the division (M&A, private equity, restructuring, financial consulting, and underwriting, etc.)
Development of financial models for analyzing the performance and value of the companies under analysis
Operational interaction with legal (tax) consultants, auditors, investment banks, regulatory authorities, judicial bodies, professional participants in the securities market, and other organizations within the framework of ongoing projects.
Organization and conduct of marketing meetings and presentations for potential investors, participation in negotiations with investors
Preparation of recommendations to the client regarding the indicative value of the analyzed projects or client's assets
Provision of services to the client as a representative of bondholders, including the preparation of bondholder representative reports, timely provision of reporting and other information
